South Dub Films in Hindi: Secret Success Formula

Owner of Goldmines Telefilms, Manish Shah, has recently opened up on the strategy that he has used to ensure the success of dubbed South Indian films. Manish said in an interview that they change a lot of things before releasing any film.

The producer further stated that they don’t just take films and dub them since the humour that works in the South might not be liked by anyone in North India.

He even gave a few examples, including marriages between a brother and sister that are prevalent in the South, but not allowed in the North, and so they modify such sequences.

Manish mentioned that the dubbing is done in such a way that the dialogues match the lip movement on the screen. He said that such customizations are important since the taste of the Hindi audience is different compared to the South.

Manish said in the conversation that they also use a separate strategy of uploading films to their YouTube channel where they provide two different versions. He said that they add a short version for those who don’t have the patience to sit for a longer period.

Manish stated that dubbed films are working nowadays specifically because they don’t feature any intimate scenes and can be watched with the entire family. Although he said that the Hindi film industry is not making anything for the masses, he expressed his desire to produce a Hindi film.

Goldmines Telefilms has established itself as one of the most popular channels on YouTube, specifically for those willing to watch South Indian films. The fanbase is expanding every day and it is possibly the only channel where even the flop films are getting huge viewership.
