Media Was Fooled, It’s Not the Megastar

Not all that was reported by the media is correct and sometimes even the media can be fooled big time. When one of the fans clubs shared a pic of the megastar claiming it to be the look of the megastar in the upcoming movie ‘Thugs of Hisdosthan’, media followed it blindly and sensationalized the look, big time.

Aamir Khan and Amitabh Bachchan are playing the main leads in the above said Bollywood movie. An old picture of an Afghan refugee in Baluchistan, Pakistan was shared by a fan club which the media took it to another level expressing wonder over the look, claimed it to be Amitabh’s look and singed praises for the transformation.

One has to agree that the refugee in the pic looks similar to Amitabh Bachchan. There is an uncanny resemblance but a closer look will reveal the reality that the man in the pic isn’t our megastar. Can you even think that this pic was clicked in 1981 by Steve McCurry on the plight of the refugees from Afghanistan? Well appearances are sometimes deceptive. What say?
