“Most New Actors Are Insecure”

Rohit Shetty is riding high on the success of Singham Again. Despite the criticism for the plot the film has performed well at the theatres and proved itself an entertainer.

Up next he is planning a collaboration with Mission Chulbul Singham. All the buzz around Salman Khan and Ajay Devgn’s union has won fans over who can’t stop speculating about the project.

Recently, Rohit opened about his experience in the industry and what shift he has seen in the work ethics. He was quite candid and it was clear that he is a bit disappointed with the new generation.

He revealed that mostly the new celebs are insecure about their social media image rather than dedicating themselves to their work. He stated that at the end it is your acting that will take you further in industry and not your PR tricks.

He gave the example of Salman with whom his future project seems to be a big buzz of Bollywood. Salman was going through a rough patch and decided to do a small role in Sunny Deol starrer Jeet.

Later on Salman regained his stardom with Judwaa, Pyaar Kiya Toh Darna Kya, Jab Pyaar Kisise Hota Hai, and others. What’s important is that he didn’t quit working hard when he was at a low point and he feels that this is something that he would appreciate in new stars as well.
