Recently, the internet was flooded with pictures of PM Narendra Modi meeting the Kapoor family. They gathered to remember the life and legacy of cinema icon Raj Kapoor, whose 100th birth anniversary will be celebrated this Saturday.
Modi Ji was seen discussing cinema and its impact with the members of the family. He met Raj Kapoor’s daughter Rima Jain, daughter-in-law Neetu Kapoor, and grandchildren, actors Karisma Kapoor, Kareena Kapoor Khan, Ranbir Kapoor, Aadar Jain, and Armaan Jain.
Actors Alia Bhatt, who is married to Ranbir Kapoor, and Saif Ali Khan, the husband of Kareena Kapoor Khan, were also present at the meeting.
Amidst these discussions online, a three-month-old video of Kangana Ranaut cropped up where she revealed that the PM hadn’t met her. Kangana is a member of parliament, Lok Sabha from Mandi.
In this interview, she talked about how despite many requests, she couldn’t get the opportunity to meet the PM. She also revealed how the PM attended her rally in Mandi but couldn’t find more than a few minutes to talk to her.
On seeing this, people online have started talking about the priorities of our Prime Minister. Modi Ji, who is known for his meet and greet with newcomers, especially women and the youth, in his party, did not meet Kangana.
People are discussing how he did not meet a member of Parliament of his party but found the time to have a conversation with the Kapoors. Many also say that Modi Ji trolled Kangana for Alia.
People also talked about how instead of looking into matters of natural concern, Modi Ji is spending his time talking to people in the film industry.
