Only Superstar: 50-Cr Opening, HGOTY, & ATBB

After all these years, it seems like Ranbir Kapoor got no competition from any actors of this generation after all. He is the only actor from the post-2005 batch of actors who has given 40 crore and 50 crore openings like this.

He is also one actor who has given record opening weekends; his movies have been Highest Grosser of the Year and even All Time Blockbuster and he is ahead of the contemporaries in terms of performances as well.

With scripts choices like ‘Barfi’, ‘Jagga Jasoos’, ‘Rockstar’ , ‘Rocket Singh’, he has impressed the cinephile audiences and critics and with movies like ‘Sanju’ and ‘Animal’ he has proved his mettle as a superstar.

Actors like Varun Dhawan, Siddharth Malhotra or Kartik Aaryan do not have the range and collections like him. Vicky Kaushal is a wonderful actor but is not considered a superstar still, but he has potential and can do a lot more.

Kartik Aaryan’s script choices of sequels and franchise movies have taken a toll on his stardom and he will have to carve out his identity with good solo movies. As of now, Ranbir Kapoor has no parallel in the industry and he is the only superstar from the generation of actors who came post-2005.
