Pooja Hegde: Disaster Hat-Trick or Revival Friday?

Shahid Kapoor looks to have a blast this weekend with his upcoming action entertainer Deva. Alongside Pooja Hegde in a prominent role, the film would not only be crucial for Shahid’s trajectory, but it will also decide Pooja Hegde’s future in the industry.

Being at the forefront of films like Ala Vaikunthampurramuloo, Pooja Hegde has found herself in the middle of utter disasters in recent memory including Kisi Ka Bhai Kisi Ki Jaan and Rohit Shetty’s Cirkus.

A renowned star who was once ruling the South film industry now finds herself in several mediocre and underwhelming projects. While her performance remains decent in most of her films, weak scripts often make her films suffer at the box office.

As Shahid Kapoor aims to deliver a huge hit at the box office after a long time with Deva, Pooja Hegde would also love to end her disaster hat trick and revive her professional career.

Speaking of Deva, the film opened with favorable reviews after its early teasers and promos. However, the makers have failed to keep up with the hype and excitement for the film with minimal promotional campaigns.

Only time will tell if the film will be able to perceive the audiences like the makers want or if will it be just another underwhelming disaster for Shahid Kapoor and Pooja Hegde’s already out-of-form professional careers.
