In an interview, a journalist asked about his view on producing any films, Kapoor gleefully replied saying, “I am producing a baby na”. What better way to tell the world!

His film ‘Udta Punjab’ has an unconventional theme and deals with the increase in substance abuse in Punjab. Featuring Alia Bhatt and Kareena Kapoor in the leading roles aside from Shahid, the film has landed in headlines when censor issued 40 cuts.
