Question on Actress in Air Force Exam – for What?

This title definitely would leave us thinking how relevant is a question on Bollywood top actress Deepika Padukone in Indian Air Force’s Common Admission Test. It actually happened that there was a question on the actress in IAFCAT.

One doesn’t understand why the person who prepared the question paper included such a question. How would it help the examiner to test the knowledge and aptitude of an individual who is interested in joining Air Force? Knowing about film stars is a different thing. But asking in exams doesn’t prove sensible at all.

This isn’t the first time though. Earlier Baahubali made its way into the engineering question papers where students were asked to design engineering set pieces for Baahubali. How would designing sets for Baahubali help an engineering student and how would the information about Deepika’s best actress award help an Air Force aspirant?
