Khan Edges out Hrithik in the US

So much was said about the competition between Hrithik Roshan and Sharukh Khan as both their films Raees and Kabil were supposed to release on the same day.

Promotions were also done on an aggressive note by both the teams as they made the films a huge talk of the town all over. But when the release date actually came, Shahrukh Khan being a bigger star won the battle clearly.

Both in India and the overseas, the film dominated Kabil and collected 50 cores in just two days domestically. Whereas in the US it collected 1.08 million as of Friday.

On the other hand, Hrithik’s film stayed a bit back and made a total gross of $329K. Collections are bound to increase over the weekend as the buzz and reviews of the film are decent.

Even though things are looking good for Shahrukh Khan this film will be a real test of time for him and see whether it can cross the 150 or 200 crore mark in India which has become a mandatory for every Khan film nowadays.
