Clash Turns Box Office Ugly-Friends Foe’s

Ever since the clash of Kaabil and Raees was confirmed there has been a war of words, silly statements from both sides. While Rakesh Roshan, Hrithik’s father handled Kaabil, it was Shah Rukh Khan on the other side.

The clash happened and it is clear that neither has been able to achieve the expected target. The openings, however, were on the Raees side thanks to the mass movie genre and star power of Shah Rukh Khan. To make up for that Kaabil makers started fudging the numbers. After the weekend due to the weak word of mouth both the films crashed.

However, in a bid to get positive perception, today both units have reached an ugly level. Both the films numbers are inflated at the box office. Things have escalated to stage that even trade has stopped reporting their numbers. But they keep peddling the numbers and have also held success parties respectively.
