Tamannaah’s Erotic Horror Sequel Makes Wild Changes

Ekta Kapoor’s Ragini franchise appears to be back on track. After months of uncertainty, the third installment is reportedly moving forward.

Industry updates suggest the film will be titled Ragini 3. The earlier tag Ragini MMS 3 is said to have been dropped.

Sources indicate that Tamannaah Bhatia and Junaid Khan are in talks to headline the project. An official confirmation is still awaited.

Earlier, there were reports of delays and creative changes. It was also rumoured that director Sahir Raza had stepped away.

Now, filmmaker Shashanka Ghosh is reportedly on board to direct the film. Sahil Raza is said to be associated in a creative role.

Ekta Kapoor continues to back the franchise. This ensures continuity with the earlier installments.

The series began with Ragini MMS in 2011, starring Rajkummar Rao and Kainaz Motivala. It later expanded with Ragini MMS 2 in 2014 featuring Sunny Leone and Saahil Prem.

Both films blended horror with erotic elements. They created a niche audience within the genre.

For Ragini 3, the makers are expected to lean more towards supernatural storytelling. Plot details remain under wraps.

The possible casting of Tamannaah and Junaid suggests a fresh appeal. At the same time, the franchise’s core identity may be retained.

Though still in development, current updates indicate that the project is progressing and not shelved.
