Trade experts calculate that its lifetime collections may touch Rs. 130-140 crores, which would make it one of the top-performing films in Bollywood this year. But the celebration has been slightly subdued, with viewers calling it an above-average but not cannot-miss cinematic experience.

The last part, Mission Impossible 7, raked in Rs. 105 crore net from India, and the new instalment should beat that record.
By the time Mission Impossible 8 reaches theaters, Raid 2 will already be two weeks into its run and will have most of its box office potential already achieved.
