Raid 2 BO Superb: Real or Corporate Bookings?

Ajay Devgn’s Raid 2 arrived in theatres on May 1, 2025, after a long wait. The film is receiving a decent response, and the second-day box office numbers are out now.

The crime thriller recorded almost Rs. 19.71 crores on Day 1, which was superb. According to trends, a huge crash was expected on the second day.

But thankfully, the film collected well in the evening and night shows and earned 13 crores, which is decent for a working Friday.

Raid 2 has reportedly collected almost Rs. 13.05 crores on second day.

The overall collection has summed up to Rs. 32.76 crores for now. The occupancy should show a huge spike on Saturday and Sunday.

On Saturday, the film is looking to record collections on par with Day 1, which is great news for the box office. Sunday will show another jump. As of now, a 70-crore weekend looks like a sure shot.

While a section of the audience and critics did not like the film, there was a possibility that the collections would not be up to the mark on Day 2.

But the above-mentioned figures are proof that audiences are interested in watching the film, despite average word of mouth.

On the other hand, fans of Akshay Kumar have alleged on social media that producer Bhushan Kumar and Ajay Devgn opted for corporate bookings to inflate the figures.

However, similar allegations have not been made by trade experts, which means that the current numbers seem to be genuine.

The film should hold well on weekdays, and Raid 2 might turn out to be the second big success for Bollywood after Chhaava.
