Akshay Beats Shahrukh – Credit Goes to Rajinikanth

King Khan Shah Rukh Khan may not be the king at the box office like he once used to be, but he is still a top star. He is still part of the three Khans that rule the Hindi film industry.

And then we have Akshay Kumar who is also a top star but never in the league of the big Khans. But for the first time, the star is going to beat Shah Rukh Khan in pre-release business. And none other than Superstar Rajinikanth gets credit for this.

The business of 2.0 in Hindi has been closed for 75 Cr. It is bigger than upcoming SRK film Jab Harry Met Sejal which is done at 70 Cr domestically (125 Cr WW). Is this is a reflection of the craze of respective films or just the Superstar things?
