RGV’s Rare Record with Megastar

Sometimes records won’t be made, but happen by chance. Here is a rare record RGV made with Bollywood megastar Amitabh Bachchan. He turned one of the four filmmakers who directed eight films each with the megastar.

The other three directors belong to the bygone era of Bollywood. Legendary filmmakers Manmohan Desai, Hrishikesh Mukherjee and Prakash Mehra fall under the category who made eight films each with the megastar. In the present generation, it was only RGV who could level that record.

There is a twist with regard to this issue. The films of all the above-mentioned filmmakers came at crucial times in Amitabh’s career and which changed his fate and created a new image for the megastar every time from action hero to comedy, from a serious image to romantic image.

But, RGV’s eight films didn’t create any such magic. Still, the megastar is obsessed with RGV’s style of filmmaking.
