Ramayana vs Godzilla Minus Zero: One Film Backs Off

Ramayana is clearly the next big release from Bollywood, and it is arriving on November 5, 2026. Advance booking has already started in India, and the magnum opus is expected to have a huge opening, followed by outstanding collections for multiple weeks.

Amid the ongoing craze for Ramayana, a new update has now created headlines, which is related to Godzilla Minus Zero. While it was supposed to arrive on November 6, 2026, the film’s India release has been postponed by two weeks.

Although the reasons to shift the release date remains unknown, the social media believes that it is only due to Ramayana, which is expected to be the only choice for the audience during that period.

The delay in Godzilla Minus Zero also means that Ramayana will get a solo release in India without any competition. This means that the film will get some more extra screens, specifically the ones that were possibly reserved for Godzilla Minus Zero.

Trade experts reacted to the delay by saying that this is a good move since every film deserves to do good business at the box office and the makers of Godzilla Minus Zero has taken the right decision since they will be able to attract audiences easily two weeks later.

On the other hand, a few others said that the film should have preferred to come on the original release date. People wrote that there was no need to be scared of Ramayana since international movies have a different fanbase in India and no one knows whether Ramayana will impress audiences with its content.

Ramayana is expected to have a good run of multiple weeks, which means that Godzilla Minus Zero will still face a competition from this one along with the other Hindi films. It will be interesting to see whether the film will be able to do some good business in such a crowded situation.
