Ramayana Maker Breaks Silence on AI, Adipurush Fears

The trailer of Nitesh Tiwari’s Ramayana is arriving after a long wait. It will be revealed at the San Diego Comic-Con on July 24, 2026. Expectations are sky-high, considering that popular faces are playing the lead roles and the budget that has been invested.

While a lot of things were criticized after the arrival of the first teaser, producer Namit Malhotra has now shared his reaction. In an interview during the premiere of The Odyssey, he said that it is acceptable that people are going to have concerns for a lot of reasons, since Ramayana is close to everyone’s heart.

However, Namit stated that as filmmakers, they are doing their best to ensure that the actors who are playing the roles are doing it without compromising on the sincerity and capability. Namit also promised to provide the best in terms of VFX. He said that they have been a part of some epics like the Dune series, and they aim to ensure that they will do the best for the story they are bringing.

Addressing more about the film, Namit shared that they are making Ramayana as the greatest epic of the world, and it belongs to every Indian and the entire world. He said that they aim to bring the best version of Ramayana and show it to everyone.

With almost a week left for the trailer, a lot of things are being discussed by the netizens online. The major criticism towards the excessive use of AI and online users reacted by saying that they do not wish to see the same in the trailer, followed by the film.

A particular section is still concerned that the experience might be similar to Adipurush. However, supporters stated that nothing like that is going to happen since the makers are well-aware of how people are going to react, and they won’t take such a big risk.

Ramayana is one of the most highly anticipated films of 2026. The release during the Diwali period is expected to bring some good collections at the box office. Let’s see if Ramayana will deliver as promised by Namit, or if the situation is going to be something else.
