Ranveer Singh’s Biggest Film News Turns Out Fake?

Social media was buzzing recently with news that Ranveer Singh bought the rights to Amish Tripathi’s bestseller, Immortals of Meluha. Fans started to think that a big screen adaptation was finally on the way, but then a news came that Amish Tripathi, the author, has denied these reports and stated that no rights have been sold yet.

Now another reliable source claims that the film is actually happening and the makers are just keeping it a secret for now. According to this source, Ranveer has already put together a creative team and work is currently in progress, though we are still waiting for a solid confirmation because different sources are saying different things.

This is not the first time someone has tried to adapt the Meluha books for the big screen. Back in 2012, Karan Johar bought the rights and hired director Karan Malhotra for the project. They spent years working on the script, but they eventually dropped the project in 2017 because nobody was ready to fund such a massive film back then.

Later on, Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s company also tried to get the rights for the project. However, Amish refused the offer because Bhansali wanted to make major changes to the story that the author did not agree with.

If the project is really happening, it will be exciting to see who ends up directing the film. Many fans on social media want Aditya Dhar to take charge because they believe he’s the master of detailing.
