Occupancy Shows the BO Winner Today

It’s comes as no surprise when Hrithik Roshan and Pooja Hegde period drama ‘Mohenjo Daro’ opened to poor talk on the content of the film and Akshay Kumar and Ileana D’Souza starrer ‘Rustom’ to a better talk comparitively.

Even before the release of these two big films, ‘Rustom’ was more favoured to ‘Mohenjo Daro’. Akshay’s film trailer film impressed the audiences more than Hrithik’s trailer. So, on the opening day, ‘Rustom’ beats ‘Mohenjo Daro’ regarding occupancy in the theaters. There had been tough competition for theatres distribution between the two films.

With comparatively good openings and a better talk, Akshay’s film might have an edge over Hrithik’s film after recording 40-50% occupancy, while Hrithik’s film has opened very low to 30% occupancy. The anticipation on Hrithik’s film had been higher but the pre-release buzz on the film didn’t help the film and hence the low occupancy.
