Saif Ali Khan Attack: Worse Than C-Grade Script?

The ongoing media coverage about Saif Ali Khan has gotten a lot of public attention, but not for the reasons one might expect.

Everyone knows that Saif was stabbed at his Bandra apartment last Thursday, and it took the Mumbai police three full days to find the man.

However, what is captivating the media’s attention is the nature of the case as well as the dramatic narrative being spun around it.

From the auto driver who took Saif to the hospital to the Bangladeshi nationalist who attacked him, the narrative doesn’t seem anything less than a film plot.

Many fans are questioning the lack of effort behind presenting a believable and coherent story. Others are also joking about how C-grade movies have better scripts and more convincing direction than what is displayed by the media.

The talks around the incident are inconsistent and lack depth and credibility, leaving many scratching their heads.

The media has turned what should have been a serious matter into a poorly directed drama. Different media outlets have varied stories, leaving people confused about which one to believe.

The fact that before catching the actual culprit, the Mumbai Police caught two other people who were actually innocent, made people question the capability of the police. Many people on social media even called them a joke for their incapability.

This case has raised questions among people about how the media distorts a piece of news only to make headlines. This can cause more harm than intended as it affects the views of the masses about a subject.
