400 Cr – New Record in Indian Satellite Rights History!

Bollywood superstar Salman Khan made history by emerging as the most paid star on television, for his next four films have been brought by Zee Network for a huge sum of 400 crores! The films have not been released yet, and some have not even finished the shoot and still, Sallu Bhai’s films have bagged the star such a record.

That is the craze of the bodyguard star there in Bollywood, silver screen, and small screen. With Race 3 to be released next, Bharat, Kick 2 and one more film are in the loop to come simultaneously. Well, the films earned fortunes way before the release.

This is not the first time for the satellites rights to be sold out for such numbers though. Earlier, Dangal was sold for 75 crores and Tiger Zinda Hai for 70 crores. But this deal of Salman Khan’s films of 400 crores is an absolute new record in Indian satellite rights history.
