Star Hero’s Outside Court Settlement

Why did EROS give a post-dated cheque to the Bollywood superstar? Why did the superstar send legal notices in the first place? Though superstar Salman Khan’s ‘Jai Ho’ and ‘Hero’ tanked miserable at the box-office, his ‘Bhajrangi Bhaijaan’ had recorded high collections making it one of the highest grossers of the year.

So the superstar is expecting Rs.46 crores from the surplus profits. When EROS didn’t respond, the superstar sent legal notices to EROS regarding the profit sharing. For which EROS has to come down and make an out of court settlement with the superstar’s Salman Khan Productions.

The production house EROS proposed a deduction. As EROS had to face losses for Salman’s previous films, it is reportedly going to deduct Rs.16 crores and agreed to pay Rs.30 crores to Salman Khan Productions. We know, these days stars aren’t asking for remuneration. They are asking for share in profits.
