Superstar Pays Rs. 16 Crore Advance Tax

Bollywood star heroes have been making and breaking records not only as film stars but also as good citizens paying advance tax to the IT department. This year, superstar Salman is on the top of the list paying Rs. 16 crores as advance tax.

The next in the list are Akshay Kumar and Hrithik Roshan having paid Rs. 11 crore each as advance tax. Surprisingly, television star of comedy shows, Kapil Sharma is ahead of Mr. Perfectionist Aamir Khan paying Rs. 6.6 crores to the latter’s Rs. 3.7 crores.

Young hero Ranbir Kapoor is third in the list with 7.8 crores as advance tax payer. However, the advance tax payments of Aishwarya Rai Bachan and Amitabh Bachan along with Shahrukh Khan were kept undisclosed as these stars were under investigation by the Income Tax Department.
