Shocked Fans Demand: Postpone Salman’s Sikandar?

As the Eid 2025 clock ticks away, Salman Khan fans are getting nervous about Sikandar. The film directed by A.R. Murugadoss and produced by Sajid Nadiadwala is one of the biggest films of the year.

But recent reports that a major part of the film is still left to be shot has raised debate among fans and industry insiders. With only 40-45 days left for the release, many are asking is it worth rushing the film?

Sources say Sikandar is still in the middle of the shoot and more key sequences to be shot. Despite the tight schedule the team is determined to release it on Eid.

This has worried the fans who fear last minute filming and rushed post production can result in a subpar product.

Since Sikandar is being positioned as a big comeback for Salman Khan after mixed reactions to some of his recent films the stakes are very high.

The biggest worry for fans isn’t just the shooting delay it’s the fallout on the overall quality of the film. Rushing through post production leaves little room for fine tuning the crucial elements like editing, sound design, background score and action choreography.

A film of this scale requires attention to detail especially since Salman Khan’s audience expects high octane action and a good story.

If Sikandar fails to meet those expectations it will be another disappointment rather than the blockbuster fans are hoping for.

Historically Salman Khan has dominated Eid releases but the landscape has changed. Box office is no longer just about star power; content driven films are doing better.

If Sikandar is compromised due to time constraint it will suffer both critically and commercially. Instead of releasing the film at any cost on Eid would it not be better to take time to make a great film?

After all delaying a film to make it good has worked for films like Pathaan and Jawan which got extensive post production polish.

The demand from the fans is clear they want Sikandar to be an action spectacle not a rushed film that fails.

While the makers are determined to release the film on Eid 2025 they should weigh the risks of hasty execution.Rather than Eid release Salman Khan wants a good film.
