A strange incident has come forward from Uttar Pradesh’s Meerut, where a man can be seen getting too emotional and crying while lying down in the theatre during the credits of ‘Sanam Teri Kasam’, as others slowly make their exit.

The man can be seen beating the floor while lying down flat on his face, perhaps a little too overwhelmed, while another man can be seen trying to console him.

The incident has grabbed the attention of people online, some of whom have mocked the ‘fan’ for his weird behaviour, while others defended him, highlighting the film’s emotionally-charged climax as well as the song.

Social media has been using this incident to get its fair share of laughter.

One user said, “When the movie hits harder than your ex’s wedding photos.”

Another commented, “When you realize the popcorn costs more than the movie ticket, but the tears are free-flowing.”

A third user remarked, “Looks like someone took ‘falling for the movie’ a bit too literally.”

While we are making strides in various fields on one side, the other side also has some people like this who go out of their way to fulfil their dreams of rolling and crying inside a theatre.
