Vanga Asks more from Shahid for Arjun Reddy

Shahid Kapoor who just finished his next release Batti Gul Meter Chalu is involved promoting the film and is ready to start over with Arjun Reddy remake this month. But the director Sandeep Reddy Vanga is not ready to take off the project yet as he wants Shahid to grow more beard.

Yep, Shahid speaking about the Hindi remake of Arjun Reddy says that they were ready to start with the shooting, but Sandeep wants his beard and hair to grow more and the shooting will start in September. Of course, for the remake of a film like Arjun Reddy, everything will be compared of, from the attire to the performance, everything needs to overwhelm the original.

Shahid feels this as the great opportunity calling it unlike the kind of film one watches usually and he wants to try doing it as well as of the first one. The pressure on Shahid is obvious as Deverakonda did it with zero expectation and Shahid will have the burden of expectation and comparisons to match original performance.
