Horror Comedy with Sikandar: Stree’s Cheap Copy?

The Bhootnii is all set to release on April 18. Fans who have seen the teasers are calling it a cheap version of Stree.

It has a star cast of Sanjay Dutt who is also producing the film, Mouni Roy, Aasif Khan, Palak Tiwari and others. It is supposed to be a horror comedy with a similar plot to Stree but lesser known actors.

Netizens feel that the film will be a disaster already and the teaser wasn’t promising either. To gain some hype the makers are trying to associate it with Salman Khan’s Sikandar.

The official trailer of the film will be showcased along Sikandar on the big screen. As Sikandar is expected to have a heavy mass viewership, the makers of The Bhootnii are trying to benefit from it.

They are also planning an official trailer launch event on 29 March with media talk and other events. Fans hope that the trailer is able to redeem some faith in the film that already seems to be struggling to make a mark.
