Trailer Talk: Tackling Bold And Controversial Topic With Arresting Energy

Post the phenomenal success of Pink in multiplexes; many films are coming with a similar approach. The idea behind them is picking a controversial subject and presenting it in an arresting manner with a lot of mass-energy. But it isn’t a mass movie.

The latest on the list is the IPC Section 375. It deals with the issue of a sexual act and whether it is consensual or not. And if it isn’t, would it amount to rape. What if there is a lie involved somewhere and it tarnishes the image of people linked in it. Besides this, there is a lot more going on in the intensely cut trailer.

What makes the whole thing work, at least for the trailer is the gripping feel it generates, the writing and the actors. Akshaye Khanna is in terrific form and would be hoping for big success in his yet unsuccessful path of the comeback.

Check out the trailer below. Ajay Bahl directs the movie which has the long-forgotten Meera Chopra of Bangaram fame in a critical role. Richa Chadha plays the lawyer pitted against Akshaye Khanna. Section 375 will hit the screens all over on September 13th.
