Shocking! Salman Khan Kicked Out?

After delivering two edge-of-the-seat thrillers, the Race franchise took a downturn with its third installment. Despite being an average success at the Box Office, Race 3 was trolled for its dreadful story, characters, and dialogues failing to meet the high standards set by its prequels.

It turns out the makers have listened to the critics and have decided to go back to its roots.

Shiraz Ahmed, the writer of the first three films, has now revealed Race 4 will continue the story and characters from Race 1 and 2. This means the Salman Khan starrer Race 3 will remain a standalone film in the franchise.

Salman fans are disappointed that their actor has been thrown out of the franchise and the makers went back to Saif Ali Khan.

Fans speculated this might be the case when Saif Ali Khan and Sidharth Malhotra were reported to be part of the film earlier this year. The Film’s writer confirmed this news and said that the rest of the cast will also be announced by the producers (Tips Films) at the right time.

While one can never rule out a cameo or return from Salman somewhere down the line, there hasn’t been any confirmation. The only thing that might make Race 4 even better would be the return of Abbas-Mustan to the director seat as there has been no official word for who will take the mantle after Remo D’Souza.

Shiraz also confirmed that the script for the film is almost complete and the shooting will start in January 2025.
