Sidharth with TVF: Kantara-Style Forest Thriller?

After the lukewarm response to Param Sundari, you’ll soon see Sidharth Malhotra back in action on the big screen. He’s teaming up with The Viral Fever and Balaji Motion Pictures for Vvan: Force of the Forest, a mythological folk thriller.

Production resumes on October 24 in Mumbai after a creative pause in June. The delay reportedly came from creative differences between Sidharth and director Deepak Mishra, but the revised script has now satisfied everyone involved.

With the script locked and the vision clear, the team is set to return to the forest with renewed energy. Joining Sidharth and Tamannaah Bhatia are Manish Paul, Sunil Grover, and Shweta Tiwari in key roles.

Insiders reveal that Vvan draws inspiration from the Chhath Puja traditions of Bihar and promises a Kantara-style mix of folklore, spirituality, and social storytelling. Expect a grounded tale filled with mythology and emotion.

Fans of TVF will notice familiar names steering the ship — Deepak Mishra of Panchayat fame and TVF founder Arunabh Kumar are co-directing the film. Their creative vision is expected to give the story a rooted, cultural edge.

For Sidharth, Vvan marks a crucial moment in his career after Shershaah (2021). While there’s no word yet on the wrap-up or release date, the film’s theme, cast, and backdrop have already sparked curiosity among fans.
