Salman Khan’s next film Sikandar has been making news lately and more so after Gaiety Galaxy’s Executive Director Manoj Desai expressed his excitement about the film. Desai said Salman himself told him that the film will be super hit and asked him to increase the number of screens for the release.
Despite low pre-booking anxiety, Desai’s trust in the trailer and Salman’s stardom made him increase the number of screens to four, the same way he did for Pushpa. AR Murugadoss is directing the action-drama Sikandar starring Salman Khan and Rashmika Mandanna.
The story is about a man taking on institutional corruption with Sathyaraj and Prateik Babbar as the antagonists. The makers have not revealed the story and instead kept it fresh, leaving the audience curious.
Salman Khan’s stardom and his history of delivering Eid blockbusters gives hope to Sikandar. If positive word of mouth follows after the release, the film can defy the initial expectations and become a surprise hit.
Manoj Desai’s trust in Salman’s words shows the actor can turn challenges into triumphs, making Sikandar one of the most awaited films of the year.
