58Cr in 3 Days?! Aamir’s Biggest Lie Exposed?

Sitaare Zameen Par opened at the box office with ₹10.5 Cr, and over the weekend, it earned approximately ₹58.5 Cr nett in just 3 days.

This sudden surge has made many people suspicious of corporate bookings.

The film saw an 85% or more jump on Day 2, collecting ₹20 Cr, and an even bigger leap on Day 3 with approximately ₹28 Cr.

These numbers have led many to believe that corporate bookings might be behind the magical jump in collections. After all, what else could explain such an unexpected spike?

The real test for the film lies on Monday, when we’ll see how the audience truly responds and whether the success holds up beyond inflated weekend numbers.

Sitaare Zameen Par is a remake of a Spanish film, and recently, many remakes and sequels have seen artificial success due to block bookings.

More and more producers are resorting to these tactics to make their films appear successful on paper. But the reality is far from it.

While corporate bookings may seem like a convenient shortcut, this practice is deeply harmful to the industry. It allows stars to justify inflated fees based on fake numbers, even when audiences are barely interested.

This trend has been visible with many recent films like Sky Force, Housefull 5, and apparently now Sitaare Zameen Par.

Honest, well-made films are getting sidelined and struggling to survive, while franchises, sequels, and remakes are thriving artificially in theatres.

Fans are hoping that Sitaare Zameen Par’s success is genuine because even though it’s a remake, the film’s heart and message felt authentic. And at the end of the day, audiences want honest storytelling to win.
