Social Media Battle Heating Up Between Young Starlets

The past year in Bollywood was as much about of the old guards as was about the young guns. Two highly anticipated starlets who were the talk of the town way before the commencement of shoot made their debuts. They are Janhvi Kapoor and Sara Ali Khan.

Janhvi Kapoor daughter of late actress Sridevi made her debut first and scored a decent success with Sairat remake Dhadak. Later in the year, after facing many troubles in making Sara Ali Khan’s Kedarnath hit the screens and proved to be a winner at the box office. Within weeks she had another release Simmba which turned out to be a blockbuster.

Thanks to the back to back success Sara Ali Khan is currently ahead of Janhvi among the perception battle in the audience. It is also reflecting in the social media which has turned out to be a battleground among followers of actresses. It doesn’t come as a surprise then that, Boney Kapoor, father of Janhvi Kapoor is feeling the heat and is directing it towards the agency handling the star daughter. With no movie coming anytime soon, guess the feelings would only intensify.
