As Bollywood celebrated Shah Rukh Khan’s 60th birthday, wishes poured in from across the industry. Among them, one message stood out filmmaker Siddharth Anand’s powerful statement that immediately caught fans’ attention.
Siddharth Anand shared the first look of King, featuring Shah Rukh Khan in a completely new avatar. But more than the poster, his words sparked conversations online. In his post, Siddharth called SRK “India’s King,” saying the superstar has moved beyond being labelled just a star.
This came soon after Sandeep Reddy Vanga described Prabhas as “India’s Biggest Superstar” during the announcement of his upcoming film Spirit. Fans quickly connected both statements, turning the filmmaker’s birthday wish into a new flashpoint for online debate.
Social media users viewed Siddharth’s “India’s King” remark as a subtle counter to Vanga’s claim. With fan groups already divided after Spirit’s announcement, this latest exchange has reignited the SRK vs Prabhas discussion online.
As King gears up for a 2026 release, fans are expecting another major clash between Shah Rukh Khan and Prabhas both onscreen and across social platforms.
