Director Siddharth Anand seems to be planning big, as the latest reports have revealed that the director has managed to get Arshad Warsi to work as a co-star alongside Shah Rukh Khan in his upcoming thriller ‘King’.
While no official confirmation has been made as of now, Rahul Raut from Peeping Moon has come forward to reveal Siddharth’s plan to gather an ensemble cast consisting of SRK, Arshad Warsi, Suhana Khan, Abhishek Bachchan, and Abhay Verma.
This will lead to Arshad and SRK sharing the screen after the latter’s brief role in ‘Kuchh Meetha Ho Jaye’, almost 18 years back!
On top of that, Deepika Padukone is set to feature in an extended cameo as Suhana’s mom and SRK’s former love interest, making fans excited once again to witness the on-screen chemistry between the two.
As if it was not enough, the source also revealed ongoing talks with Paatal Lok sensation Jaideep Ahlawat for a key role in the project.
While choosing this mega ensemble cast seems like a step in the right direction, it can often act as a two-way sword, harming the film if things get too crowded.
