Star Hero Slammed for Mishandling Indian Flag

Whether or not one does it intentionally, violating the code of conduct of the national flag is considered an offense. Unfortunately, the Bollywood star Akshay Kumar has fallen into this offense for mishandling the Tiranga.

As we all know, Indian flag should be held such that Saffron color stripe should be on the top. Akshay, who was way excited about the WWC 2017 where Indian team was expected to get the match was waving the flag in the stadium cheering up the team. What he shouldn’t have done is to hold the flag upside down. He also has posted this picture of him waving the flag on social media missing to notice what is wrong with the picture.

Netizens slammed the actor for mishandling the flag on the internet, with which the actor deleted the post immediately and also have posted an apology for violating the code. He wrote: “Extending my sincerest apology for violating the code of conduct for the tricolor. Didn’t mean to offend anyone, the picture has been removed”.
