Strange Hack: Top Actress` Fake Tax Returns Filed

In quite a strange turn of events, somebody has impersonated Kareena Kapoor Khan and filed an income tax declaration in her name.

Kareena has in turn registered a complaint with Cyber Crime Cell of the Mumbai Crime Branch saying that an unidentified individual, who somehow managed to obtain her PAN no. and password, had accessed her account on the Income Tax site and wrongly filed an IT return for the financial year – 2015-16. Sources tell us that the complaint had been registered by Kareen’s Chartered Accountant Pradeep Thakkar who apparently manages Kareena’s income taxes.

The imposter had likely hacked the account in August and filed the return. The offence has been registered by cyber police station in BKC under Section 419 of Indian Penal Code for cheating by impersonations and also for fraudulently making use of the password of another individual under Section 66C of Information Technology Act.
