500-Crore Hero Shifting Towards OTT? Stardom Over?

Sunny Deol’s Jaat is releasing in three days, and while fans are excited about the same, the actor has now opened up about his upcoming projects in a recent interview.

Sunny said during the conversation that he has multiple projects in the lineup that would arrive directly on OTT.

He mentioned the reasons behind not releasing these projects on the big screen, saying that the audience of the projects he is talking about is completely different.

Sunny added that OTT is the best medium for anyone from the entertainment industry to connect to any kind of audience.

He continued by saying that he is willing to portray different kinds of roles and everything will depend on the film’s script and the person directing the same.

It seems like Sunny is attempting to maintain a close bond with those people who prefer to watch films on the screen or do not have enough time to visit theatres.

However, the best part is that he has not decided to become a permanent part of OTT, and he will continue doing projects in theatres for his die-hard fans.

Moreover, Sunny’s upcoming collaborations are also expected to do well at the box office. He is working with Rajkumar Santoshi after many years on Lahore 1947, which will mark the return of Preity Zinta. Then there is Border 2, which will also feature Varun Dhawan.

Sunny’s Jaat is releasing on Thursday, and it remains to be seen if Jaat can break the records set by Gadar 2 back in 2023.
