Actress’ Casual Comment Straightaway Hit Mahesh

Actors define themselves by getting into the skin of their characters that may be totally unlike them, age wise, attitude wise and even appearance wise.

Taapsee Pannu was trolled for playing a 60-year old woman role in her upcoming movie ‘Saandh Ki Aankh’.

She laughed at the trolls and asked why the trolls don’t question when big actors play college boy roles though they are actually triple the age of the college boy role. She is 30 and no one questioned when she played a college girl for her age.

Though she didn’t intend to point out at Mahesh Babu, he played the college student role in his recent release ‘Maharshi’.

The superstar himself felt uncomfortable playing a student role at his age. It was a casual comment from her that straightaway hit Mahesh.

But, you know, it’s quite common to play roles quite younger or older defying the real age of the actors. Here, age doesn’t matter, and when Taapsee asked the same, she has got a point.

Why the restriction on her when the audiences have no problem when heroes play much younger roles?
