Taapsee Faces Ban in Pakistan

Taapsee’s career and is successfully running in the theaters, and yet she faced rejection in Pakistan. The movie has actually managed to get through the Pakistan censor with a few cuts and has been released in the theaters, but only for a day.

The censor board was fine with the movie at the first but only to realize a day later to the release that the film has international terrorism theme and that could affect Pakistan in a bad way and hence the board has taken a call on the ban as one of the Pakistani officials say.

This is the second Indian movie that has been banned in Pakistan after the country lifted the ban on Indian films early in the year and allowed certain movies with the approval of their censor board. Raees couldn’t make it through the Pakistan censor, while Naam Shabana passed but came back in a day.
