Top Actress Replaced Without Any Notice

Tapsee who is winning the hearts of the Bollywood audience with back to back critical and commercial success had a rude shock, courtesy a soon to be on sets film. The actress has been replaced unceremoniously, without any notice from a project, by the makers.

The film in question is the remake of yesteryears comedy hit Pati Patni Aur Woh. Karthik Aryan of Sonu Ki Teetu Ka Sweetty fame is the leading actor of the movie. Reports suggest that even the director wasn’t aware of the replacement. Ananya Pandey, a yet to debut industry kid, is said to be Tapsee’s replacement.

Two versions are floating around concerning the removal of Tapsee in the last minute. One is that hero of the movie wanted Ananya, his girlfriend, for the part. The other is the producer’ closeness with Karan Johar who is said to be backing Ananya. Whatever may be the case, it would have been better had the actress been informed about the situation earlier rather than going ahead without intimating her at all.
