Talk: Today’s Bollywood Releases

Down South in Telugu and Tamil, we have two releases aka ‘Bigil’ and ‘Khaidi’ releasing today. In Bollywood, there are two releases and both of them are interesting in their own way. But, will they live up to the expectations?

The two films in the discussion are Akshay Kumar, Pooja Hegde, Kriti Sanon and Kriti Karbhanda starrer ‘Housefull 4’ and the biopic ‘Saand Ki Aankh’ starring Taapsee Pannu and Bhumi Phednekar in the lead roles playing the real-life characters double their age.

Early talk from the special screenings has come out. Akshay Kumar’s movie was anyway touted for brainless entertainment and looks like, the movie has lived up to the expectations in terms of providing entertainment. Let’s wait and see for the comprehensive reviews.

However, Saand Ki Aankh, the story of two real-life shooter grandmothers seems to have missed the target. Except for the lead actors’ performances, everything seems to have gone wrong for the biopic. But, we need to wait for the word of mouth after the theatrical shows and see if that turns out to be anything different.
