Tamannaah in Sleazy Film? Will She Cross Limits?

Tamannaah Bhatia has joined hands with Ekta Kapoor for Ragini MMS 3. Ekta is now looking to rebrand the Ragini MMS franchise as a horror comedy, moving away from its earlier horror-erotica image.

Insiders reveal that Ekta has finally locked a subject that not only suits the Ragini MMS universe but also has the potential to take the franchise to the next level. This project is expected to redefine the series in a new genre.

The film is likely to go on floors by the end of 2025. Reports suggest that Ekta discussed the concept with Tamannaah Bhatia during the shoot of Vann. Tamannaah was reportedly surprised by the strong horror element in the story.

Tamannaah has been signing back-to-back projects, riding high on the love she received for her digital performances. Her song Aaj Ki Raat in Stree 2 turned her into a sensation. Soon after, she signed Vann with Sidharth Malhotra and Rohit Shetty’s upcoming action film led by John Abraham.

Now, if reports are to be believed, she is set to headline the third installment of Ragini MMS. Many feel Tamannaah is the perfect choice, especially after her chartbusting item number in Stree 2, which became a massive hit.

While the first film in the franchise received a fair response, the second faced heavy criticism for being overindulgent and sleazy. Fans are curious if the third part will improve the series or once again risk oversexualising its lead actress.

Sources add that the upcoming film also has scope for hit music. The makers are already searching for a track that could become a nationwide rage. Fans now eagerly wait to see whether Ekta Kapoor can revive the brand, do justice to Tamannaah, and establish Ragini MMS 3 as a strong horror comedy.
