Tamannah Frontrunner for Bollywood Remake?

While Telugu audiences are waiting for Siddharth’s dubbed movie ‘Gruham’ which is said to be a pure horror flick, one of his acclaimed movies in Tamil, ‘Jigarthanda’ is going for a Bollywood remake. Star hero Ajay Devgan had secured the remake rights of the movie.

It is learnt that our Tamannah is the forerunner for playing the female lead in the Bollywood remake to be helmed by Nishikanth Kamalt who handled “Drishyam’ remake in Hindi. Lakshmi Menon reprised the role in the original movie.

Controversial star Sanjay Dutt may likely be roped in to play the role of the gangster originally essayed by Bobby Simha. That implies, Ajay Devgan will be producing the movie but not featuring in the remake.

Talented hero Farhan Akthar will be getting into the shoes of Siddharth’s character. In Tamil, the movie garnered huge critical accalim. Let’s see if the remake could live up to the expectations of the original.
