Saiyaara Breaks Records: Music Facing Trolls

Saiyaara has made a massive leap at the box office and brought back the classic romantic-drama genre to its height. Along with the performances of the stars, the music has also been a big selling point of the film. Tracks of Saiyaara are breaking records on the Billboard charts and making it big both nationally and internationally. The music composer behind this album is Tanishk Bagchi, and he has delivered a heartfelt score overall.

However, as with his past track record of making remixes and allegedly plagiarising other musicians, this album has also come under much shade. Many fans felt undertones of Kabir Singh in it, while others felt that it was inspired by old international tracks. The series of allegations was beyond comprehension. It made Tanishk come clear in his defence, after having delivered a hit track he has been feeling the pressure of standing by it and fighting copying allegations.

He stated that no matter what he does, critics and trolls find excuses to disrupt his reputation. His work in Saiyaara might be inspired by many other works from the past, but he has not copied anything directly. He stated that often creating an emotional track can have a universal appeal, due to which some might find resonances of other works. But in the end, he has solid proof of the magic this album has created in terms of records broken and craze felt nationwide.
