Tapsee Is Not a Rape Victim in Pink

Amitabh Bachchan recently clarified a lot of questions expressed by viewers regarding his latest film Pink that also involves actress Tapsee. During the launch of the song ‘Jeeney De Mujhe,’ Amitabh made it clear that film is not about rape but the currents situation that exists for women today.

The story of the film is based in Delhi and it explores the situation prevailing on the streets of Delhi and many other parts of the country especially for the women of younger generation. Amitabh Bachchan plays the role of a reluctant lawyer who keeps aware of the happenings across the street where he lives.

Amitabh went on to say that Pink is a comment on women’s empowerment and that is the reason it is named so. The actor himself has great belief in the film and believes that the women in our country are half of the strength and they must have their dignity in their walks of life. Meanwhile Tapsee took to Twitter and clarified on her fake interview which claims she plays a rape victim in Pink.
