Tapsee’s ‘Pink’ Opens to Low Occupancy

Amitabh Bachchan’s latest film Pink that brings to light the plight of young women in an apathetic society has received quite great reviews from the industry’s A-listers who got to watch the movie before its release. However, the film’s opening figures have been disappointing which is a cause of concern to the filmmakers.

Pink opened this Friday with a low occupancy rate of 15% in the morning shows. However since the film has received good reviews from critics and in the media, these figures are expected to rise in the evening shows and over the weekend. Word of mouth should help the film get the popularity it deserves.

Meanwhile the fourth and last film of the Raaz franchise ‘Raaz Reboot’ had an average opening with the occupancy rate of around 25%.
