After much anticipation, the first look at the characters from Thama was revealed on August 18, 2025. This new chapter in the Maddock Horror Comedy Universe is taking a different turn, introducing a vampire story mixed with romance instead of the usual light-hearted comedy.
The film stars Ayushmann Khurrana, Rashmika Mandanna, Paresh Rawal, and Nawazuddin Siddiqui in key roles. A recent update confirms that the movie will have an open ending, keeping room for more stories to unfold in possible future entries.
Nawazuddin’s character is designed as a vampire who cannot be destroyed easily, tying into deeper vampire folklore. The storyline suggests that this creature will require unusual and special powers to be defeated, making the narrative more intriguing for the audience.
Other main characters will remain a part of the franchise, and fans can still expect comic elements in upcoming installments of Thama. While the new theme leans towards horror and romance, the makers have assured that humour will not be lost along the way.
Speculation is high about potential cameos, as fans believe Varun Dhawan and Shraddha Kapoor might appear towards the climax. However, these cameo appearances have not been officially confirmed by the makers yet.
The teaser of Thama will be released on August 19, 2025, promising to transport audiences into a fresh and engaging world. With the lead cast taking on a darker and more intense theme for the first time, fans are eager to see whether the promotional material manages to impress.
