Thaman & Anirudh’s Ego Clash to Spoil Salman’s Comeback?

There are strong rumors online that Anirudh Ravichander and Thaman S have officially joined Salman Khan starrer The Messengers, which is being produced by Dil Raju and directed by National Award winner Vamshi Paidipally.

This project marks the first collaboration between Salman Khan, director Vamshi Paidipally, and producer Dil Raju. The film is being mounted on a massive scale as a high-octane action thriller with a strong emotional core. The director aims to present Salman Khan in a completely new avatar, featuring a distinct look that immediately hooked the actor during the script narration.

However, industry insiders believe that hiring two big composers for a single project could backfire, as they might try to outdo each other. When too many dominant creative minds get involved, ego clashes become likely, which could ultimately make the project suffer.

There is also a chatter that this Salman film was originally narrated to Akshay Kumar. He was reportedly given two options to choose from, a remake of Sankranthiki Vasthunam and The Messengers. After Akshay chose the Vasthunam remake, producer Dil Raju offered The Messengers to Salman, who instantly liked the idea.

Even though this is a rumour, it makes social media users suspect that the film might turn out to be just another typical masala entertainer. Many feel that Salman rarely picks risky subjects these days, leading to doubts that this project might end up being another routine film like Sikandar for him.
