‘They Think It Is Cheap Publicity’

Taapsee Pannu is always loud about her views and thoughts being an Indian film actress. The actress is on the top of her career now with pretty much projects in hand. When asked if she is has experienced the casting couch dark shades, she says fortunately or unfortunately, she hasn’t seen it to herself.

As the actress reported, though she was not a victim of the casting couch, she has known actors in Bollywood who suffered the nasty couch. Bollywood which is mostly inspired by the Hollywood has not taken up the “Me too” campaign very well. They fear to speak out due to fear of being judged and shamed.

“They think that it is a cheap way of publicity”, she says. Of course, their character and ethics will be questioned by the people speculating that they have used the casting couch for their own benefit. Yes Taapsee you are very right.
